Focusing on the gradual transformation in appearance and form brought on by the natural force of gravity, Skye Kelly uses the sugary, sweet goodness of liquid toffee to create her installation pieces. The other cool visual effect of Kelly’s work is the odd puddles that her installation creates. As the toffee dries and hardens as it slowly creeps it way to the gallery floor, it collects in unique folding forms almost transforming into a separate sculptural piece on its own.
