“Hello, my name is Vadim Torbakov and I’m from Ukraine. I’m 21 years old and I’m finishing Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts. What I like in drawing the most is an attempt to catch the beauty of the shape, the way how it interacts with light, sometimes going out to the viewer and sometimes losing itself. I really like the dynamics of the shape and light, its gesture, its pressure. This kind of a union of form and light creates truly beatiful and emotional things. I think that drawing is the main discipline on the way of understanding visual information as such.”
