Marcel Caram, digital paintings inspired by Salvador Dalí

“My name is Marcel Caram. I am a digital artist and I live in Brazil.

I create digital drawings in Photoshop. Many people ask me if I use some 3D programs. I answer no. I use only Photoshop.

I like to draw and I always liked surrealism since I was kid. The surrealism masters as Salvador Dalí, René Magritte and De Chirico have always caught my attention. The influence of them in some of my works is evident, more specifically Dalí’s. Many people want to know how my inspiration comes. I say that many things can inspire me. An object beside me or a scene that I see happening can inspire me. In fact, I think that anything can be an inspiration for the surreal but the most important thing is the feeling.”
