Sculpture by Vice Glibota









Vice Glibota (1988, Split) graduated from the School of Arts Faust Vrančić in Split (2007), received MA degree at the Academy of Fine Arts (Bosnia and Herzegovina), department of Sculpture in the class of Professor Stjepan Skoko (2013) He has taken part in several exhibitions. Participated in art colony on island of Brač, Croatia(2012), and he is an author of one public sculpture on Brač. Most noted work he participated in was project “Astropark”, an educational center for children and adults within the Makarska city observatory, where he was the author of nine public sculptures representing celestial bodies of the solar system. The project’s objective was to foster interest in science in all generations, to improve scientific literacy, and to bring science closer to the general, and especially astronomy and astrophysics, to the generations to come. The project was officially opened in the city of Makarska, Croatia (May 2017).
