Ashraful Arefin is an internationally published fine art photographer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, born in May 3rd of 1987. Ashraful was always very interested in drawing and painting, and wanted to be an artist from the childhood. He started studying Fine Arts and have chosen Graphic Design as the major in the university. Ashraful was photographically born in 2013 when he started doing a 365 project, and completely fell in love with photography and found his true passion for it. After graduating in 2014 he decided to take photography as a career and right now giving his full time for it. At this moment he’s working with some reputed international agencies, for book covers and also on personal projects.

Ashraful loves shooting mostly still life and conceptual images. He has been very much inspired by the simple little beautiful things in our lives and he tries to portray his appreciations for the little things through his works. He always try to find beauty in the simplest objects, for him beauty is everywhere if we look a little bit closer. In short, he works to capture beauty and emotion within his photographic frame by using colours and simple techniques.
