“My first passing interest in photography came when I had to take photographs to use as elements in my interactive assignments. My dad had just gotten a state-of-the-art 2 megapixel digital ‘pro-sumer’ camera which apparently had manual controls. I spent a couple of weeks finding out what ‘aperture’ and ‘shutter’ meant and proceeded to shoot everything – trees, clouds, everyday objects, friends, everything.”
