“I am a Netherlands-based fine art photographer Gabriele Viertel. My works are mainly created underwater. I use water to create a thought provoking mood and skilfully chiaroscuro lighting that leads to a dramatical surrealistic visual narrative.
The photographs are a tightrope between the world of human vulnerability, beauty and fashion, and performing arts. Selected works are currently exhibited at Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Indiana USA.”
