Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that developed in the 19th century. It combines elements of dance, acrobatics and martial art from different social and cultural groups. In this project I wanted to visualize it’s unique movements and elements. The combination of stroboscopic lights and long exposure enables to show the overall, abstract shape as well as the detailed sequence of the motion.
