Cristina Alonso (1989) is a Spanish author & illustrator specialising in fashion and beauty.
Lyrical and feminine, her style features alluring drawings with elegant colour palettes. She combines hand detailed pencil, ink and watercolour with hints of digital painting, creating pieces with an unique flair.
She has worked on different areas all around the globe: editorial, advertising, illustrated books (from covers to style manuals), fashion events, and illustration applied to the product (packaging, textile, pattern, licensing…). Her work has been published by renowned publishers such as Penguin Random House (illustrating the book of the iconic videoblogger Patry Jordan – ‘Secretos de Chicas’) or ANAYA Multimedia, and has appeared in prestigious media as Juxtapoz and Beautiful Bizarre Magazine.
Cristina is graduated of Hispanic Philology from the University of Valencia and is University Specialist in Illustration by the Polytechnic University of Valencia. She also has studied a postgraduate course on Professional Illustration in the School of Art and Technology (ESAT).
Currently she is based in Valencia, where she carries out a very intense artistic activity and manages a solid web presence.
